dsa3dscan

This is the [DSA] 3d scanner project page. The aim of this project is to provide a piece of software that makes it possible to build a 3D surface model out of several digital pictures taken of an object.

2005-04-20: I've come a whole lot further, I even have a collection of scripts now that already do most of the work that is needed for this project. I'll upload them into CVS some day... *grin* -- However, here is a presentation for you to look at (in German, unfortunately) that I held yesterday in which the basic mathematic things are explained: dsa3dscan_praesi.pdf

2004-11-14: Heh, this project still exists! :-) -- I have just uploaded a document providing some mathematical background for projections of points in space to planes. Download it here: projection.pdf -- Attention: This document is completely outdated! None of the techniques described are actually used right now.

This project ist still in an early stadium. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to mail to g-henna(at)users.sourceforge.net. (My PGP public key for encrypted email communication can be downloaded from http://sks.keyserver.penguin.de:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x8ABCAEF5.)
